World opera star Anna Netrebko will have her first meeting with the Bulgarian audience on March 20, 2025 at Arena Sofia.

The opera gala will be conducted by Maestro Naiden Todorov with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and The National Philharmonic Choir.

Netrebko began her career in 1994 to reach the most prestigious opera stages. She is the star of Milan's La Scala, Vienna's Staatsoper, New York's Metropolitan Opera, London's Royal Opera House, Berlin's Staatsoper, a participant in the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, etc.

Netrebko has consistently distinguished herself in the world of opera by demonstrating remarkable range and artistic sensitivity in her portrayals of opera's most iconic heroines. Her repertoire includes operas by Mozart, Verdi, Bellini, Donizetti, Masne, Gounod, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Chilea and many others.

Her most anticipated appearances this summer are in 8 performances at Milan's La Scala - Turandot/Puccini, beginning June 25 and 3 performances in August at Arena di Verona, Tosca/Puccini.

Among her many awards and accolades, Netrebko has three Grammy Award nominations, the German Bambi Award, the BRIT Classical Music Awards "Singer of the Year", the 2020 Polar Music Prize, which is often referred to as the "Nobel Prize in Music", and the jury's assessment that ...
