DEEP PURPLE ARE THE FIRST HEADLINER AT MIDALIDARE ROCK IN THE WINE VALLEY 2024

One of the most influential bands in the history of rock is coming to the fourth edition of the festival

Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley 2024 will take place between the 12th and the 14th of July. The first announced headliner are the legends of Deep Purple. They will rock the stage on the 14th of July, Sunday.

There simply aren’t enough superlatives to properly acknowledge the contribution Deep Purple has made to rock music. Having sold more than 100 million albums and filled global arenas for decades, there’s little wonder that the respected British radio station Planet Rock named the group the '5th Most Influential Band Ever’. The band were also presented the ‘Legend Award’ at the 2008 World Music Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Deep Purple truly are ‘rock royalty’. Their album

“Made In Japan” is universally accepted as one of the most important and influential live albums of all time.

Known as one of the hardest working bands ever, Deep Purple has continued to release No.1 albums and tour globally since forming in 1968, with little rest. In 2007 (almost 40 years after being formed), the band performed 40 dates in France to an award-winning audience, and they continue to spend much of their year on the road selling out arenas across the globe.

From today, on sale are limited daily tickets for 14th of July with Deep Purple, at the price of 120 leva. After they are sold out, no more daily tickets will be sold for that day.

At Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley 2024 we expect Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Don Airey and Simon McBride то consolidate their legendary status.

In the 1980s Saxon established themselves as one of the most successful metal bands in Europe. The band toured regularly and sold more than 13 million albums worldwide. Their latest album, Hell, Fire and Damnation, will be released on January 19, 2024.

Swedes HammerFall were founded in 1993 in Gothenburg. In 2000, the album "Renegade" went number one in their homeland and went gold. In 2002, the band released the song "Hearts On Fire", which became the band's biggest hit, with over 80 million streams on Spotify to date. The song became the anthem of the Swedish Olympic women's curling team, leading to the band performing at the opening ceremony of the European Athletics Championships in front of 250 million spectators worldwide. During their thirty-plus year career, Swedish Titans have topped the album charts both domestically and internationally, sold out tours, reached gold status and amassed over 240 million streams on Spotify and over 130 million views on YouTube.

Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band formed in 2002 by former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. The band has released seven studio albums and three EPs, featuring guest appearances by artists such as Sharon Den Adel of Within Temptation, Marko Hietala of Nightwish and Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. The band has been part of festivals such as Wacken, Graspop and Download. With a revamped line-up featuring the stunning and breathtaking vocals of Diana Leah, Delain are ready to continue their journey on the global metal scene.
