Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley will have its fifth edition in 2025. The festival will take place from 11th of July (Friday) till 13th of July (Sunday). Headliner for the first day are MANOWAR. On Saturday, July 12th, headliners are W.A.S.P., and on the last day, Sunday we will see ALICE COOPER, and DORO.

In the upcoming months, more bands will be added to the lineup of the festival.

The special occasion marks MANOWAR’s long-awaited fifth return to Bulgaria, and it will be their biggest production in Bulgaria yet! MANOWAR is preparing an exclusive show to honor the incomparable loyalty of the Bulgarian Manowarriors. This will be a night of legendary and inspirational metal hymns, filled with incomparable energy and, most of all, the unity of the Manowarriors that makes every MANOWAR performance an unforgettable event.

There are few bands in world music history that can be as loved as they are hated, and W.A.S.P. are just that. Rock icons with a unique style and a charismatic frontman in Blackie Lawless, who has also been the driving force behind the band for over 40 years. Joining him on the Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley stage will be Mike Duda (bass), Doug Blair (guitar) and Aquiles Priester (drums).

There has been much speculation over the origin of the band's name, and whether it actually stands for anything, since it is written as an acronym. One possible interpretation is "White Anglo-Saxon Protestants", being the original meaning of the acronym. The original U.S. release of the band's debut album W.A.S.P. had the words "We Are Sexual Perverts" inscribed on both sides around the label in the center, while "Winged Assassins" is inscribed on the spine of the first vinyl pressing. Blackie Lawless has always delicately avoided answering this question, cementing the cult status of both the band and the W.A.S.P. name.

ALICE COOPER pioneered a grandly theatrical brand of hard rock that was designed to shock. Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors. He continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.

With a schedule that includes six months each year on the road, ALICE COOPER brings his own brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does. Known as the architect of shock-rock, Cooper (in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist) has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn, like a great horror movie, even in an era where CNN can present real life shocking images.

For the second time at Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley we will see DORO, lead by the Metal Queen, Doro Pesch.

DORO celebrated 40 years of heavy metal magic in 2023, both with the release of Conqueress – Forever Strong and Proud and two exclusive live shows: in Düsseldorf, DORO’s home town, and a top-of-the-bill spot at Wacken Open Air. As she and her loyal band have proved beyond doubt over the last few years, the stage is DORO’s natural habitat and the fans are the inspirational blood coursing through her veins. Armed with one of the most diverse and explosive records of her career, she arrives at this impressive milestone with the wind still in her sails. You can’t kill rock ‘n’ roll, and you definitely can’t stop the Conqueress. Forever strong and proud! Long live the Metal Queen!

In 2022, she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, having already received an Echo, the Metal Goddess Legend Award in Las Vegas, the Legend Award in England and Germany, the Angel Of Rock Award in England and awards as the “sexiest woman alive”, among others. She has also been voted Best Female Vocalist in Spain for 30 years in a row, and was inducted into the Hall Of Heavy Metal History in the United States. Thanks to an unwavering work ethic and dedication to the metal cause, DORO has performed over 3,000 concerts in more than 60 countries.
