Football stars’ Foundations organise a charity match

starring athletes and celebrities

This Large-scale event is scheduled for June 14th 2017, at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. The expected revenues will support the causes of the Luis Figo Foundation and the Dimitar Berbatov Foundation.

The two great athletes are personally engaged in the organization of the event, and will invite their former teammates and football rivals.

            Luis Figo, one of the biggest stars of European football, winner of the Golden Ball in 2000, founded his Foundation in 2003. Since then, Figo has played 11 games with All Stars and football players like Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Other famous athletes and celebrities also take part of events like this. Rafael Nadal, Michael Schumacher, Coldplay and many other stars have been part of Figo’s team. However, so far All Stars has not played against another star team like Berbatov’s United Stars. All of Berbatov’s former teammates have already agreed join his team.             The members of Club 2016 of Dimitar Berbatov’s foundation "The Successful Children of Bulgaria" will also attend the match.

"I would be honoured to play against Figo and his team! This match is a great opportunity to invite famous colleagues and friends over to Bulgaria. For the first time in our country celebrities from all over the world will unite to support a cause. Together we and all the people, who will join us at the stadium, will give children a better tomorrow. We will play this game for the children, the football fans and everybody else who would like to see this stadium filled with people”, Dimitar Berbatov claimed.
