One of the biggest sporting events of 2025 is coming to Bulgaria! The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has chosen Burgas to host one of the men’s Volleyball Nations League rounds.

In the new "Arena Burgas," national team coach Gianlorenzo Blengini will make his official debut on Bulgarian soil. While Varna has long been recognized as Bulgaria’s volleyball capital, Burgas is now boldly stepping up to the challenge.

The matches will take place from June 25 to 29, giving the audience in Burgas a chance to witness some of the world’s best teams, including Olympic champion France, as well as the strong squads of Slovenia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Japan.

The Volleyball Nations League tournament will be one of the biggest sporting events Bulgaria hosts in 2025. Besides world-class volleyball, fans will also enjoy the stunning Bulgarian Black Sea coast at the end of June! Expect top-level volleyball action featuring stars like Alex Nikolov, Alex Grozdanov, Simeon Nikolov, and their teammates.
